Here is a cocktail that is big and dark, served over crushed ice. Many neo-tiki drinks are adopting amari and other non-traditional elements. This one leans full on into that direction. The interplay between the molasses, fruit juices, bitter coffee and herbaceous Fernet creates a deeply layered flavor profile. Surprisingly complex but super easy to drink, this drink won’t scare away even the most Fernet-opposed.
