Choked Bird
Much has been written about the Jungle Bird cocktail. It’s a bit polarizing in the tiki community due to the use of Campari. It seems that many folks that are into tropical drinks aren’t that familiar or experienced with bitter flavors and find it not to be to their liking.
Here I’ve switched up the spec, changing the rums and subbing Cynar in place of the Campari.
I think perhaps it’s a bit more approachable than the standard drink and is a good transition into the wonderful world of amari in tiki.
