Maple syrup, grade B
Maple syrup is the sap of a maple tree. There are several grades and the system of categorization can get very confusing. Grade A is produced earlier in the season and is a lighter variety both in color and flavor. It’s generally better suited for cocktails as it won’t be overpowering. Sometimes the darker, richer Grade B variety is specified as the other style might get lost amongst the strong flavors of that particular cocktail.
