Yellow Chartreuse
Dating back to 1838, Yellow Chartreuse has the same herbal backbone as its bolder cousin Green Chartreuse. Made from more than 130 herbs, plants and flowers, it’s bottled at 43% ABV. Its sweet, herbal and deeply complex flavor profile is difficult to match. Strega makes for a reasonable but simpler substitution.
