Amaro Montenegro
Amaro Montenegro is an Italian digestif crafted from a secret blend of 40 botanicals coming from four continents. It’s one of the most gentle and light amari with sweetness and a bitter edge. Flavors of dried orange peel, honey, vanilla, clove, allspice and saffron are balanced with wormwood, cassia and coriander. Finding a suitable substitute is difficult and will result in a very different cocktail. Perhaps Amari Meletti or Amaro Nonino are your best bets.
