Sicilian Cafe
I’ve been reminiscing of better years throughout this Pandemic. Thoughts of images of folks sipping their Negronis in the beautiful outdoor cafés of Italy came to mind. I wondered if I could create a drink that would fit right into that picture.
I love the interplay between the bourbon, Averna and coffee liqueur. For most of my cocktails, I try to balance things in a way that each component can still be identified. This is a little different in that the flavors combine to create a luxuriously rich new flavor of its own.

Instructions
Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Strain into an old fashioned glass filled with a large ice cube. Express and discard an orange peel.
