Fighting insomnia one evening, I turned to the book, Easy Tiki: A Modern Revival with 60 Recipes by Chloe Frechette to find this cocktail.
It’s a riff of the Hotel Nacional classic cocktail. It doubles down on the pineapple flavor and has a split base of pineapple and white rums.
I’m a sucker for cinnamon flavor so this one really worked for me. It almost has an apple pie vibe to it.

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a pineapple crescent and an edible orchid.
