Hariken
This cocktail is a mashup of the 1940 Pat O'Brien Hurricane and the Japanese Cocktail from the 1862 book, How to Mix Drinks.
Both the caramel notes of the cognac and the funk from the Jamaican rum are easily identifiable. The tartness from the passion fruit and citrus is nicely offset by orgeat.
The name, Hariken, means “hurricane” in Japanese making this drink possibly the perfect storm.
