There’s a lot going on in this appropriately named cocktail by Thomas Waug.
The vanilla-passion fruit paring is a beautiful compliment to the tequila and the bitterness from the Campari gives miles of depth to what otherwise might be one-dimensional.
The lime zest sitting on the rock is particularly brilliant in that it adds a special kind of brightness.

Instructions
Short shake all ingredients except the soda with a few ice cubes. Strain into a snifter over a large cube. Top with club soda and garnish with a fine grating of lime zest on the top.
