Kim Novak
Kim Novak was hired by Columbia Studios in 1954 to be their version of Marilyn Monroe. It wasn’t until 1958 that she would get the role for which she is best known; Judy Barton in Alfred Hitchcock‘s Vertigo.
There is a cocktail made by Death & Co. that they call The Monroe that uses gin, peach liqueur and orgeat.
I was inspired by this and decided to make this variation based on rum kicked up with some apricot and chocolate-orange flavors.
