Looking just like a classic cocktail dating to pre-prohibition times, this drink is from the 1970s and first appeared in the Playboy’s Host and Bar Book.
This particular spec is by Jim Meehan of PDT fame and adds just a touch of sweetness to the original, making for a better balanced drink.
