Falernum-Tai

Another Mai Tai riff, this introduces the sweet clove-spiced flavors of falernum to the mix. Falernum is a Caribbean liqueur used in tropical drinks. It was likely first created in Barbados in the 18th century and is used in many classic tiki cocktails. Today, the John D. Taylor and Maggie’s Farm brands are the closest match to the traditional ingredient.
