Koko B. Ware
Wanting to create a drink that tastes like coconut without containing any, this one was born. The rhum agricole and orgeat mixes with the cream to give that coconut flavor.
In my example, I used the Denizen rum which is a blend of aged Jamaican and Martinique rums. While it lacks the grassiness of the aged rhum agricole called by the recipe, it still combined to create those coconut notes.
This is an interesting cocktail from the perspective of what flavors can be mimicked by blending ingredients.
