And to All a Good Night

Tonight’s Christmas cocktail comes from the proprietor of a local joint right here in San Francisco. I had been drinking a lot of creamy and frothy autumn-winter cocktails so this was a nice change of pace in that it’s a holiday cocktail that is both spirit-forward and easy drinking. Tim suggests a sweeter bourbon such as a Maker’s Mark. I went the other direction and grabbed the 101 proof Wild Turkey. I also drank both servings from a chilled flute and didn’t regret any of my choices.
