Santa’s Whiskey Flip

This simple drink calls for bourbon that has been infused with cinnamon. Making it would typically take several days so I decided to use my whipped cream charger to do a rapid infusion with my whipped cream charger. This is a simple flip cocktail. Its amaretto and cinnamon flavors work well to make this perfectly suited for the holidays. The amaretto brought all the necessary sweetness to this drink so I’m really glad I had the homemade cinnamon bourbon rather than the overly sweetened commercial kind.

Instructions

Dry shake without ice then shake again with a single large ice rock. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Dust with grated nutmeg.

Cinnamon-infused bourbon: Add 8 ounces of bourbon into the charger along with two cinnamon sticks broken into six pieces. Follow the directions for rapid infusions found at the end of this book.
