How the Grog Stole Christmas
I’m a sucker for amari in tiki cocktails and Averna is one of my absolute favorites. It plays incredibly well with the allspice, cinnamon and grapefruit and adds a complex foundation for the split base of spirits.
It’s just fantastic! This drink is five stars out of five for me.
Don’t wait until Christmas to make this one, folks.

Instructions
Add everything to tin. Flash blend or shake with crushed ice. Pour into a double old fashioned glass. Garnish with a mint sprig, freshly grated nutmeg and powdered sugar. Optionally add a parasol and flower.
