Singapore Sling

The story goes that this drink was created in the early 20th century at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore. It’s a riff of the Gin Sling, a drink from that period that is essentially a punch. Many specs are available but I went with my go-to from Smuggler’s Cove. When made in the classic style as opposed to what was served in the 80s and 90s fern bars, this drink is tart and complex. I find it delicious, but imagine its flavor profile isn’t for everyone, as one has to really like the funk of the Cherry Heering to appreciate it.
