Space Needle

The Space Needle cocktail was created for the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair and was served at the revolving restaurant at the Space Needle’s top. The menu stated, “a special drink in a very special container. West Indies rum and flavoring liqueurs create a delightful new taste sensation.” It was served in a special Space Needle-shaped glass. Essentially a larger-format Mai Tai with lemon instead of lime, this makes for a nice variation.
