East India Negroni
This cocktail was created to show rum as a versatile spirit good for much more than just tropical drinks.
Banks 5 Island rum is specified which is a rich, dry multi-island rum. Not having it, I chose Foursquare Probitas which is a blend from Barbados and Jamaica with its own bold flavor.
The best part of this drink is the Lustau sherry, which is a blend of oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherries. It works perfectly subbing in for sweet vermouth and adds a luscious nuttiness that balances the Campari and lets the rum shine.

Instructions
Add ingredients to a double old fashioned glass. Stir with ice until you reach desired dilution. Garnish with an orange twist.
