Frankenstein’s Monster

I’m a big fan of neo-tiki cocktails that incorporate non-classic ingredients. In this case, the Campari adds a bitterness that tames all the other ingredients, adding a foundation to the layering of the other flavors. It’s fantastic! Everything incorporates well, even for those folks that aren’t too much into Campari. I’d bet this drink would work well with other red amari as well; Averna, Cynar, Aperol, or Select would each give an interesting variation.
