Between the Sheets

This sexy little drink was likely born at Harry’s Bar in Paris sometime when Prohibition was in full swing. It’s a new take on the Sidecar cocktail, introducing rum and cognac in place of brandy and letting go of the sugared rim. This spec from Difford’s Guide is by far my favorite, as it’s been carefully balanced by Simon Difford. The original is super tart and boozy. This version keeps the essence of the classic while making for a much better crafted cocktail.
