Shockingly, this started off as a riff of the classic Jungle Bird but flew into a whole other direction. Ditched is the Campari, substituted with banana liqueur. The Jamaican rum is gone too and in its place is rye, trading the funk for some spiciness. More spice is added with the cinnamon and Peychaud’s and the lime juice has been changed to lemon. Instructions

Add everything to tin. Flash blend or shake with crushed ice. Pour into a collins glass and top with more ice. Garnish with an orange twist and pineapple fronds
