Pagan Idol has been responsible for some killer original tiki drinks and this one is no exception. It’s so good that it’s spurred variations of its own, perhaps a sign that a drink has become a neo-classic in its own right. The unusual combo of banana liqueur with grapefruit juice makes this drink! Instead of red fassionola, I used gold from Jonathan English. Supposedly this product mimics the fassionola used back in the day. I don’t think there’s a single fresh or natural ingredient in it. Nonetheless this cocktail was the life of the party.
