Another cocktail brought to us by Frederic Yarm of the cocktail virgin slut blog, we’ve got a Manhattan style drink that inserts sherry and orange curaçao in place of sweet vermouth. This is a really worthwhile riff to try. The addition of the orange works so incredibly well to brighten the rich sherry flavors. I used a high proof rye in this case and I think that’s a good call. It stands up to the other strong flavors.
